I have been working in the beauty industry for nearly 20 years, specializing in haircutting, styling, and makeup. My journey started in an apprenticeship program in one of Portland’ s premier salon, Akari. I have trained with big name companies, such as Bumble & Bumble, Kerastase, R+Co and Living Proof. My skilled experience includes extensive work on photoshoots for Akari, as well as hair and makeup for 2017 Mrs. Maine pageant winner, Cynthia Peters.

Several of my works have been featured in Brides, Real Maine Weddings, and the Old Port magazines. Quality and client satisfaction are of the utmost importance to me. My meticulous attention to detail is evident in my work, and sets me apart from other artists. Beauty is art, and art is my passion. I am very fortunate to have clients who allow me the privilege to express my artistic creativity on them.

While hair and makeup is my passion, so is my desire to help people. In 2019, I obtained my BSN and worked as a surgical oncology nurse for about 2 years during the pandemic. Shortly thereafter, I got my certification in botox/dermal filler. In June of 2023, Luxe Lotus Beauty officially became a sub-tenant and collaborator with Rytualist Aesthetics Bar in downtown Portland. You can find me in my hair studio most days, or, in the office doing injections and skincare treatments.
